MINUTES/NOTES – MIDWEST 305 SPRINT CARS

December 6, 2009

Story City, Iowa

The Midwest 305 Sprint Cars Board meeting was held December 6, 2009 at Story City Happy Chef. The meeting was called to order by Bob Hildreth at 2:10 p.m. 

Members Present:

Bob Hildreth, Mick Fishel, Mark Ferguson, Bob Lamb, Matt Stephenson, Shad Sporaa, Dave Sporaa. 

Bob Hildreth read the minutes from the previous meeting. Mark Ferguson moved for approval, seconded by Shad Sporaa.

Shad Spora gave Treasurer’s report . There is $1,477.33 in the account. Mark Ferguson made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report, seconded by Bob Hildreth.

Old Business: None 

New Business: We need to pay the dues for our website as soon as possible. Shad will find out what the dues are. Bob Hildreth believes they are between $200-$300. Matt Stephenson made a motion to pay the dues after determining the amount, which was seconded by Bob Lamb. Motion carried unanimously.

There were two rules left over from the last meeting in November for the Board to vote on. All other rules were agreed upon the prior month.

Line 6: Amend to “ Chain, belt, gear drive allowed. Stock location water pump.” Motion was made by Bob Lamb to accept the change and seconded by Matt Stephenson. Motion was passed with 5 ayes and 1 nay.

Line 12: Lifter Boxes: No repositioning or bushing of the lifter box. Matt Stephenson motioned to delete entire line, seconded by Dave Sporaa. Motion passed with 4 ayes and 2 nays.

Shad Sporaa made a motion to adjourn, which was seconded by Bob Lamb.

The next meeting will be January 3, 2010 at Story City Happy Chef.
