Old Business: None

New Business:

July 3, 2010 marks the 100th year of auto racing in Webster City. The Hamilton County Fair Board is planning an event that day. We are racing there that evening. The night will be capped off with a fireworks display. The Fair Board is looking for ideas to make this a day- long event. Matt Stephenson suggested doing a car show that afternoon, with our cars and drivers and having some vintage cars on display as well. Mark Ferguson will work with the Fair Board on setting this up. Matt Stephenson stated that he would look into making a Midwest 305 Sprint Car banner to use for these shows. He will report back next month with prices and sizes.

Since our next meeting date is Easter Sunday, it was decided to move the meeting date to April 11, 2010.

Bob Hildreth is working on some more race dates. He has been in contact with Spencer, but they have not confirmed anything yet. Our payoffs have been sent to Marshalltown and they are close to deciding a date for us. He stated that Independence has shown some interest and will work with them. The Algona date is still not decided. Bob has also left a message with Stuart to see if they are interested. Matt Stephenson said he would check with Boone and Des Moines to see if any interest is expressed there. Mark Aaron will check with Denison.

The confirmed dates are listed on the website.

A motion  to adjourn was made by Mark Aaron and seconded by Jim Twedt.

The next meeting will be held April 11, 2010 at Story City Happy Chef at 2:00 p.m.

Meeting adjourned at 3:00 p.m.
