MIDWEST 305 SPRINT CARS
March 6, 2011
Story City, Iowa
The Midwest 305
Sprint Cars Board meeting was held at Story City Happy Chef on March
6, 2011. The meeting was called to order by President Bob Hildreth at
2:00 p.m.
Members present:
Mark Ferguson, Earl
Tice, Dan Ebright, Dalton Ryder, Bob Hildreth, Kody Hildreth, Kacee
Hildreth, Mark Aaron, Mick Fishel, Shad Sporaa, Dave Sporaa, Matt
Stephenson, Bruce Stephenson.
The minutes from
the last meeting were read by Bob Hildreth. Bruce Stephenson motioned
to approve the minutes, which was seconded by Dan Ebright.
The Treasury report
was given by Shad Sporaa. There is $2,861.66 in the account. Dan
Ebright motioned to approve the Report, which was seconded by Mark
Aaron. Mark Ferguson turned in a claim of $200 for the website. It was
motioned by Matt Stephenson to pay the bill, which was seconded by
Dave Sporaa. Matt Stephenson paid a claim for the Secretary of State
for $50. Dave Sporaa motioned to have Matt reimbursed by the group,
which was seconded by Bruce Stephenson.
Old Business:
The group agreed to
order 1050 new tattoos.
New Business:
Dan Ebright will
see how much it cost to reproduce the Midwest 305 decal.
A lengthy
discussion was held on how to increase car counts. Matt Stephenson
suggested starting a points fund, or the possibility of 2 $25 gas
cards given to cars finishing from 5th on back, by drawing
for a number. No conclusions were made.
Steve will tech
cars again this year.
Several more race
dates are still pending.
The next meeting
will be April 3 at 2:00 at Story City Happy Chef.

motioned to adjourn the meeting, which was seconded by Shad Sporaa.
The meeting was
adjourned at 3:15 p.m.
